Bio:

My name is Jayde. I am an eighteen year girl who lives in Mississippi. I am a senior at riverside high school. Right now, I am number one in my class, but that can change before graduation in May. I spend most of my time working, doing school work, or being with my boyfriend. I work at sonic, the American drive in haha. It's not a great job but it makes money, and money I do need, or I wouldn't be working, trust me. Next year I plan on attending Mississippi University for Women (which is no longer a women's college.. they accept men as well) majoring in elementary education. I eventually plan on becoming a third grade teacher.

i have a story that sounds like a sad movie.. but here it is for ya. i had the love of my life. we dated for two and a half years. 2-27-05 will always be a special day for me. that is the day i started dating the best guy that ever walked this earth. his name was joey daniel kellum. he was the most romantic man ever. he was diangosed with cancer the first time when he was a junior in high school, the tumor was on his back and was successfully removed from his back. two years later, when he was a sophomore time in college he came home due to another cancerous spot on his body, this time under his arm. the doctors radiated the spot and called it good. two years down the road (after he met me and we were in ♥)his arm began hurting in the same spot.. he went to his doctor to see what they said about it.. and he said its just scar tissue not something you need to worry about.. so he gave him a RX for some pain medication and called it good.. it continued to hurt to the point no strenghth of pain medication could take away the pain. he decided this doctor is crap i'm getting a second opinion. he went to a doctor two hours away and the doctor told him he automatically saw the lump, and they were going to have surgery to remove the knot as soon as possible. he went into surgery thinking it was almost over.. which was far from true. he was cut open and the doctor found the cancer from 2 years prior still there radiated to his veins and arteries in his arm, they cut one of his major arteries trying to remove it.. so he decided he wasnt going to be able to remove it like this. he closed him back up and said they would send him to nashville to vanderbilt university hospital for further treatment. he recieved two doses of il2.. the il2 did nothing for him, so they decided to try give him some chemotherapy at baptist hospital. after recieving a couple days worth of treatment.. he decided to stop treatment so when he was healed all glory would go to God. he was taken to his home in greenville ms where hospice was taking care of him, and gave him an estimate of 6 months to live. he was on oxygen and had a cathader, but he was able to be at home and see people have some fun. he lost his battle to cancer on July 18, 2006. he was only 22 years old, and way to young to die.. but it was God's time for him. i think about him every single day and miss him more than any one could ever imagine.
